My roots are planted in Mexico, with the indigenous people of Oaxaca. I have a dash of Spanish in my blood. My spirit is universal and wherever I am, I am inspired to work for Mother Earth. Now that I live in Belgium with my dear husband Johan, it is my honor to be of service and guide you on your way.
As a professional trauma therapist it is beautiful to witness when people take this courageous journey towards healing.
I believe that Trauma is an inherent experience of human life. Successfully processing it has served me to reconnect with my inner strenghts. As trauma survivor I believe deeply there is meaning and that all experiences keep on teaching us important lessons.
I owe a great debt of gratitude to the many people I came across over the years. Those extraordinary people contributed to be a source of inspiration, support, encouragement, information and learning.
I believe that finding meaning into our lives is essential, to create sustainable life affirmative changes. It gives sense in what we need to do. To grow. And to create a deeper perspective to lifelong learnings. Trauma healing is finding our way home. In that process our life mission appears. And it gives direction to our talents and strengths.
My approach to trauma therapy is one of empathy and respect. I believe that each person has the potentiality to use her own resources, to build up resiliency and overcome adversity.
My style is holistic, existential, bodily oriented.
I am currently a member of a broad international network of mental health professionals. Our passion is serving individuals in need and/or communities in crisis worldwide. I am committed to share my knowledge and be an active participant in this healing movement around the globe.
My dream is that we awake to take responsibility into healing the damaging effects of trauma. I hope that one day we look ahead, realising that we are co-creators in the healing of our beautiful planet, so worth of care…
Because we need us all.
